Downtime & Drupal 7

Hey, there's a lot going on behind the scenes here. There will be a lot of changes in the 2nd half of this year. I will post about that in a little while.

Have you heard of Drupal?? I've been a minor contributions to the Drupal project since 2007, but more recently I took on a more prominent role. For over a year I've been working very hard with the Drupal team to completely change the templating engine within Drupal. Drupal 6 was a vast improvement, but it was definitely not constructed with designers in mind. In re-writing the templating engine, we think we'll finally bring Drupal to the masses. Drupal 7 recently reached an important milestone with the first alpha release. The release of 7.0 is definitely around the corner (well, 486 bugs away, and counting :). Luckily most of those bugs aren't related to my area, and with my work there substantially complete, I'm going to get back to some other personal projects that I've long put off (like a new version of Visual Directory Contents). In the meanwhile, everything here should be running as normal.

If you have problems, you know how to contact me.

Brandon
